Static Refrigerant Pressure?

Hi all, it's getting hot out and I'm having trouble with my air conditioning.

I've got ~100 psi on both sides at rest.
The compressor doesn't kick on, fuses are good, A/C light on solid.

What is the refrigerant pressure you expect to see at rest?
Will I do any harm if I force the compressor on with these pressures? Tried jumping out the relay, nothing happens.

History...
Had my condenser crack and leak.
Replaced, evac'd the system, verified no leaks, recharged.

The recharge didn't go ideally.
The cans I had are 340 grams.
My scale shut off while charging the second can to try to get to 415g.
So the system may not have the correct charge.

The air was blowing cool, but not to spec according to our chart.
I tried recovering a bit of refrigerant thinking the pressure was too high.
Now my compressor doesn't come on at all.
But the at rest pressure is ~100 PSI both sides.

the at rest pressure should equal out after the system is turned off. so that is ok.

i would fix your scale and start over.

verify your low and high pressure ranges and give it another go. you want to see these values when the system is running on max, recirculation on.

Static low-side and high-side pressures will vary with the ambient temperature.
