Good Afternoon, All. I have a Beautiful British Racing Green 2006 Mini Cooper S with only 75,000 miles on her! I baby her! During this winter while clearing off snow off the bonnet, I hit the front driver's washer nozzle and it no longer sprays out the two pin holes. It leaks from where I just pulled it out of. Lifted the hood and can't get to the connection. Any thots on how to fix it. Many Thanks! Been a long time Member here on this Great Forum! Thank You! Abbey's Mom
I was taught to use a Sewing Straight Pin to clean and clear out the nozzle holes, generally you get a buildup of car wax and the like clogging them and a Sewing Straight Pin inserted in and wiggled about does a grand job of sorting them out.
So, the rubber hose got disconnected? If you can see it, I would try a small pair of tweezers to pull the hose out. Otherwise, I think you have to pull the insulation mat off.
Thank You, Both Guys! Tried the needle this morning to no avail then looked underneath Abbey and saw windshield wiper fluid leaking on ground So raised the bonnet, used a small hex and removed 4 screws holding the insulation then was able to re-hook hose and nozzle input! She works like a Charm Now! Not bad for a 71 year old chick!!! LOL! Yeah, I'm pretty tool savvy!
