R50/53 Interior roof and trunk light

Interior roof and trunk light

Hello,
The lights don't come on, either when I open or close the car, any ideas?

If you hold the button on the ceiling light for several seconds it disables the interior lights (won't come on when doors open). Pressing a again for several second enables them.

I tried but unfortunately it remains off

Check the fuses in the driver's footwell behind the kickpanel.
If they're all good then you will need to scan the BCM for error codes as it's ultimately responsible for switching the lights on/off.
