How hard to replace positive battery lead on R53

Hi,

I tried installing a resistor to substitute for the squib. It worked for a while but the airbag light came back. I was thinking about doing a proper fix and replacing the positive battery terminal. How hard is this to do? It connects to the alternator and the charging point under the hood, where else?

Also, how the BST work? I assume the Airbag system sends a signal to the squib that tells it to blow. The tiny wires don't seem to be capable of doing a whole lot more.

I did the swap, there weren't many attachment points. It was tricky routing it around the muffler, but not too bad overall. Take lots of photos/videos of the current wire before you remove it. It didn't fix the airbag light, maybe the new sqib is bad?
