Where has everyone getting their headline?
I have been to a couple of Joann's and no match. What they did have was much darker than the original light grey.

There's just so many choices, did the one you ordered match the original fabric and did it have backing/foam material?
Thanks

Headliner specific material has the foam on it. The colors vary. The grey that was available was slightly darker than the original, but you can't really tell once it's in. There are other colors as well so you can be creative if you like... There was a post earlier on this section where someone did a sort of plaid or tartan pattern on theirs...

Is has been posted that 1/8" foam is advised if you have a sunroof. I am on the hunt as well but finding that most of the 1/8" is a flat knit fabric and not a brushed fabric as originally used.

Try an auto upholstery shop if you want to see before you buy. We bought some at a shop that also worked on boats.

Very close match and what we used on our headliner project several years ago.

Store: yourautotrim.com
item: ph-2075
color: lt gray

Buy at least 3 yards of fabric and two cans of adhesive.

Zsm- I have them bookmarked but that is 3/16" thick. Doesn't seem to any shortage of 3/16 in the marketplace. Not the case with a brushed product in 1/8"

In reality, the visual difference is minimal. Yes, by the measurement 3/16th is 5/32nd thicker.

The overall improvement with the new headliner was definitely worth it. The outcome was definitely what we were hoping for and with headliner no longer drooping here and there, we moved on to other restoration projects.

Headliner redone with PH-2075 3/16" Fabric

This guy (Bill) has done many at the MINI/BMW dealerships. He has color matched and correct thickness. https://headlinerexpress.com/import-...hatch-hardtop/

Hope I'm not thread hyjacking, but what color would you recommend for a 2006 GP headliner? It looks black, but maybe a little lighter.
