I might be on to something here.... The attached diagram shows the AC controls go from BC1 via K-Bus, through the IKE? (picture shows thats the cluster??) and switches to Can bus, then to the EMS (ecm?) to then control the relay?
When Is can the car with a snapon scanner, it tells me there is a VIN mismatch in the cluster? Could that be causing my grief???? If so, is there a way to fix this with NCS Expert? (if so, point me in a direction?)
Touched base with the previous owner, to find out he had some 'module' replaced when the brake lights kept sticking on.... My thought it was the BCM that was replaced.... and I suspect he likely put the wrong one in, possibly causing my issue!! I am thinking that maybe he used one that was for a 'manual hvac' vs the auto.....
He is supposed to be looking, as he is pretty sure he has the one that was taken out. Hopefully he can find it, as I am confident that the brake light issue was the x15 connector....
