!st time poster. I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S Checkmate and had a question about fuel lines; especially the one in the attached pics. This is the line from the fuel rail with the injectors and quick disconnect. Its not leaking but it looks like something is going on with this hose. 2 Questions. 1. Is there a good site to pick this hose up or do i have to go directly to Mini/BMW? 2. Is that a quick disconnect elbow attaching the hose in question to the fuel line heading down under the car ?? I believe its item 2 in this. It looks like you need to replace the whole line. ECS also sells this part number https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...n/16126766200/

I just had to replace the line in the front of those pictured, its not fun, but easy. There will be a bunch of brackets to remove.

 

Thanks !! What I suspected as far as having to replace more than that area. Thanks for the parts info however the ECS Tuning link you provided says it wont fit my Mini. I'll go with the Mini part though. They are about the same.

ok, just wanted to make sure you got the correct one.

 

I received the replacement fuel line from ECS but couldn’t separate the disconnect at the rear by the fuel tank. I have no problem whatsoever with the disconnect at the fuel rail by the injectors.

saw several tools on ECS but they all say “front” disconnect and all say they will not fit an R53

Help
