Ok! looks legit
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, drop down to 15" wheels and tires to match (either 205's or 215's with an aspect ratio of 60 to keep the ECU on track.) This will save you countless repairs on control arm bushings, ball joints, strut tower mounts and maybe even axle boots. Also, if you can find it up there, grab a pack of 3M Quick Headlight Clearcoat and go to work with some 600 then maybe 1000 grit sandpaper on those headlights. The 3M kit comes with a superb 3000 grit sanding pad to finish the oxidation-removal process and the wipe-on clear coat levels out real nice. To keep the newly repaired lenses looking sharp, slap some Laminx protective film over the completely dried surface (after another light touch of wet sanding from the 3000 grit pad) to keep the bug guts from ruining them again in the future. Compare this to the cost of replacing the lights entirely or in part and this will make perfect sense, this cloudy headlight condition will only worsen with every passing day. In the meantime, find a reliable BMW/MINI garage near you, OTHER THAN THE DEALERSHIP and you should be on your way to motoring madness, best of luck!
