Only one?

I'm wondering if I'm still the only member of the 100,000 mile club. I'm currently at 118,500 plus miles. It sure would be nice to have more members since it is very taxing benign president, secretary, and chairman. Is anyone at least close? Give us (what am I say us) ME. How close you are to the 100k mark. I need more members!

Ya know dpilgrim... I thought I was gonna get there quickly... but I've started driving my Cherokee more in this snow. I got to 50k in a hurry... and turned 57k this week. Looks like I'm still more than a year away.

I'm trying! There are only so many miles I can drive in a day. I'm up to about 74,000 so I still have a ways to go.

<out of breath from running to check the odometer reading>... 000652. Nope, not even close. On the "plus" side, I'm halfway done with break-in. I've been motorin' & grinning 12 days.

Please forgive me tryin to be cute,
Tatt

I made it to 52,000+ in my 2002 Cooper - but just traded it in on a 2005 - and have had to start all over (just about ready to break 1,000 )

miles

pilgrim, I'm not going to be driving my car everyday. I'm moving and will be at walking distance from work. I'm not too happy about not having to drive my car everyday, life style errosion . In just over 1 1/2 years I drove 35,000 miles but sadly my car is just going to sit and be driven mostly on sundays. You'll have to continue carring the torch.

Just wanted to give the NAM gang an up date on my miles. 127,400 miles now. Plus our local dealership put on a auto cross over the week end and I won first place in modified. Would have come in fastest time for the day but a buddy of mine that works for the dealer drove one plus seconds faster. He was driving an 05 with the works full package and he didn't get the award since he works for them. Hey the car isn't doing to bad for that many miles. Don't you think?

Well, I've had my '04 for just a hair over a year now, and I have 31,000+ miles. And I still plan on going to the Dragon, Florida, and King's Island in Ohio in the coming months, not to mention all of the regional club runs, so I should be there soon!

How many miles did you accumulate your 1st year?

The first year we went on a trip out West to Yellow Stone and Glacier National Park. Plus I commute about 140 miles per day to and from work. so I put on about 50,000 the first year alone. I couldn't get enough motoring in this car. I was just having to much fun. And I'm still having fun

We had a customer drive up from Columbus-area for an ALTA 15% pulley and Cold-air intake install on his very-early production '02 MCS, he had 92,500 miles at the time. Also, a local club member, 4GAZM, has about 93k miles on his modded '02 MCS. Those are the highest mileage MINI's I've seen. Both are holding up great!

Motor-On!

We've had our '04 MCS for three months tomorrow, it had about 19K when we bought it, we're now at about 28K - so let's figure about 3K/month - we're still what, about a year and a half out? Plus when MINI #2 arrives, we'll cut the mileage in half. . .let's figure closer to three.

But I'm still gonna want my badge, too, when that time comes!

Don't think I'll be able to join you until late this year or early next . Sorry I am trying. I'm at 68k as of this morning. Still only half of what you got.
