R50/53 Newbie here with stupid question
"frost heaved Wisconsin roads that were downright ridiculous"
This particular road - before I pulled off - was 8 miles of expansion joints every 10 feet and each raised about 2 inches or more higher than the road surface. Believe me, the Mini was bucking like a bronco, and my 56 year old body was not liking it! Speeding seemed to help (changed the frequency) and to be fair it was 5 below zero. In any case, I love the "S" so it will all work out. Thank God most roads aren't in that class!

Thanks for the advise everyone. I appreciate how helpful you have been with a newbie!
Msfitoy, that is a nice looking mini, and if I was not so set on having a red one - I would scoop it up. But my little girl has to be red with black roof and mirrors.
Nozz - I posted a pic of myself in the off topic forum, in the show us your face thread. I don't have any of me on the track yet - but I will post them when I do, as I imagine that I will be giggling like a fool, and wanting to share - I just have to wait for the Michigan winter to end first.
