R53 Chrono Pack screen issue

I have no doubt others have had similar issue. The small screen on chrono pack where outside temp would be displayed no longer lights up at all. As you can see in picture all other lights on the tacho side work. Computer where sat nav is shows outside temp som Im assuming the probe at front bumper is okay I replaced with a new one anyhow. I have checked all fuses, I do not have a cd stacker, I have no history of moisture via sunroof as car is always garaged, never driven in the rain and only has 98,000 klm. The light that illuminates cigarette light works as I read this can be an issue.

Sometimes the small screen displaying total klms traveled loses pixels and then returns back. I have read an awful lot about speedo, tacho issues on the R53 and looking for further suggestions, thoughts appreciated.

At this point I’d say you have a screen failure, and the easiest solution is going to be to replace the entire thing.

Hoping not the Chrono Packs are over $1,000 AUD. Checking fuses yesterday I see that F5 fuse is okay however is is getting no power, I will keep trouble shooting until I can go no further. One good thing is this particular screen is not ultra important as everything else works.
