I'm having some issues with my heater core producing heat whenever my fans are on (even when my AC is turned on). The heat is coming from the heater core itself and not the vents. I feel air blowing around and under the plastic cover over the heater core (and no its not from the vent) I've eliminated a bunch of different possible issues such as recharging the AC, checking some of the valve flaps for diverting the air in the car etc... I found some other BMW's online that are having a similar issue with the dual climate zone and the heater core. I want to find the solenoid(s?) for line so I can test it. None of the diagrams I can find online seem to have these solenoids in them. Are they even in my car? It's an 06 MCS.

 

These are the only sensors in the system.

 

Do all of these sensors work directly with the heatercore?
