Window doesn't move, motor sounds normal
I put my window down for a minute, then when I tried to put it back up it doesn't move. I can hear the motor running, there's no grinding or other odd sounds. I took the door card off and I can raise and lower the window by hand. I pulled it all the way up to see if I could lower the window with the motor but it does the same thing -- the motor runs but the window doesn't move.
I'm inclined to think it's the regulator but wanted to hit up the forum to see if there are any tips on what else might be bad and any tips on isolating the problem.
Thanks,
-g

+1 on ChiefM. You should not be able to raise or lower the window by hand. Sounds like a new window regulator is definitely in your future. Word of warning: there are two plastic cable holders near the top of the door (inside) that hold the cables away from the moving window. Break those and you're in a world of hurt because they can no longer be purchased separately. They can be purchased as part of a window hardware kit but the kit will cost you around $40 and you won't need anything but the holders to replace the regulator.
