R50/53 Hand brake turns... because snow.
Hand brake turns... because snow.
As it were, decided to take the ol' Mini out to a snow filled parking lot to play in the snow.
Come to find out, if I yank the hand brake like a maniac... it does nothing.
But, if I yank it slowly and precisely, works like it should.
Mind you, my Mini dash is lights up like a christmas tree during the winter (either due to holiday festiveness or because it's cold). I get the ABS, traction, and tire lights illuminated.
Question is: Is there some sort of panic-prevention device that disallows you to yank the hand brake with all of Thor's fury to lock up the rears -- even with TC off?
Side question: is there a fuse or other means to permanently disable TC?
The mini is an absolute blast in the snow. Can even get some pretty good four wheel drifts. All at the blistering speed of 15mph.
