Roll bar

Had my roll-bar powder coated the same color as my sub-frames and installed it last night.

Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!
may I ask , how much weight is saved by gutting it like you've done ? I've been considering it but have some money invested in making my interior pretty so it'd have to be worth my while..

I stopped weighing everything, but quite a bit. I took everything out. I went through the whole wiring harness and removed all the wiring and washer resivor tubing I didn’t need. Full A/C delete, including the evaporator inside the hvac unit. The firewall sound foam was pretty heavy, but the factory seats were the heaviest pieces at something like 50lbs each. The tar sound deadening material added up too. It’s loud to drive and lots of road noise on subpar roads, but I love driving it. It’s a real joy going through those gears, especially with my shifter.
