Put my 22mm sway bar on today!

got my 22 sway bar on today it was a pretty easy instal the only hard part is getting the sub frame back in to place. i had to lay on me back under the lift and push on it with my feet till my buddy got the bolts started. when i was under the lift the first time i pushed up i axidentley lifted the back of the car off the lift almost crapped my self. but other than that i basicley have 0 body role

just got the struts out.

sway bar and sub frame in place.

done!

What did you have before the switch? What are your impressions of the changes?

Hey AkFarina, specifically which bar did you install? The rear suspension of the R56 (and GP) is a beautiful thing and the red bar adds some nice bling.

For everyone else, here's a comparison shot of my original R53 bar compared to the 25.4mm hollow H-Sport:

AkFarina: Are you sure you have zero body roll? Or very little body roll? Most owners change out to a stiffer suspension on top of a larger rear sway bar to truly eliminate body roll.

Either way, cool install. If you ever need to reinstall or remove and have issues with the subframe, just use a longer screwdriver, push it into the holes beside the bolt holes and torque it in line(I was able to thread the bolt back in by myself using this trick). Alot easier and safer than using your legs
