Big Mini on Edmunds.com

http://autoshow.edmunds.com/news/aut...ow..leftnav.23.*

watch the slideshow...interesting first slide tagline "...or does it look like a big MINI?" The last picture certainly looks like a MINI with a gland condition

Yea, but not with the interior detail. Personaly, I don't think a whole lot of this particular 'concept.' The run-through interior center rail, makes the interior look like an amusement park ride. the exterior looks like someone beat a MINI with an ugly stick, till it got all swollen.

From a more practical (but still negative) standpoint, when I carry rear-seat passengers (which is seldom) I have some concern for their safety from rear-end collisions, since there's not much behind them, and no rear-deck equvalent to the side/front air bags. But the Infinity doesn't even have as much rear crumple room as the MINI. Anyone in the rear 2 seats would be pure toast in a rear-ender.

Yeah, and I've heard of "design" too. Although I'd be hard pressed if I had to prove the existence of either one, based on this vehicle.

Looks like a big piece of a$$, as does the new '06 Charger when I clicked the link to it on that site. No real surprise though. Think Dodge needs an overhaul of their engineering crew. But those are just my thoughts. Carry on. As you were.
Cheers,
