Sooooooo I ordered a set of headers for my 04 mini cooper S buuuuuut after ordering them seen it said they're just for the naturally aspirated models , is this correct? I SWEAR the headers were the same or are they different? It's a performance catless ebay header of course.
I recently checked RealOEM for the Mini part number for the stock header for 2003, for my production month/year (09/02). For mine, the part number for the stock header is the same regardless of whether it is an r50 or r53, i.e. 18407533402 for both.
I imagine that is probably true for 2004,but did not confirm that, in fact, the link above shows that it is the same throughout Gen 1 production.
