Wanted to say hi and introduce my new to me 2004 Cooper S. It has 71k miles, got it from the original owner, car was completely stock, has all documentation and manuals including window sticker. Clean carfax too.
Since I got it about a month ago, I've installed the 15% pulley kit from WMW, DDM Works intake, Vibra-technics engine mount (top passenger side) and oem lower mount. I also installed new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, shifter boot and handbrake boot in leather.
Here's a few pics of the car:
I also ordered a Milltek non-resonated exhaust, Megan Racing coilovers with WMW springs, Megan racing rear camber links, WMW 25.5 hollow sway bar, Canton Racing expansion tank (mine is leaking already), Stoptech slotted rotors (vented front) and pads, 15mm spacers, and other maintenance items as well.
Almost forgot that I also got the Powerflex control arm bushings and ball joints kit from WMW.
As you can see, this forum has already been enormous help in guiding me straight into bankruptcy.
Nice clean example, great looking car! Sounds like you got a nice list of goodies ordered!
Thank you!

Thanks! those are my favorite wheels for the R53. Need to get them refurbished later on, but I’m having a tough time finding a good wheel place that knows what they’re doing with a 2-piece wheel
Beautiful clean car. Enjoy the new suspension bits. Take a careful look at the strut towers. From the pics of the engine bay, it looks like both passenger and driver sides are a little mushroomed. Your new coilovers will help protect from further damage, but you may want to level them out too before you get an alignment.

Thank you and I greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the mushrooming. I had noticed it as well and it will be addressed before the coilovers are installed.
Nice, the Canton tank is a good upgrade. I bought a similar one off eBay, never have to worry again when the plastic one cracks. I wanted one with an inspection glass

do you have a link to that one you got? And is there a link with a expansion glass too? I need one
