R50/53 1st gear difficult on start up
1st gear difficult on start up
2004 Mini Cooper S with 115K, 1st gear and reverse are difficult to engage on first start up in the morning. Once down the block no more issues the rest of the day. Doesn't matter the outside temp.
Maybe. If the installer didn't properly lube the guide tube (TO bearing slides on it), or possibly you have issues with the clutch release lever. You might also check to ensure the installer properly bled the clutch master cylinder.
