R50/53 I/M Readiness reset, MOT next week
I/M Readiness reset, MOT next week
Hi,
I have had some issues (primarily ABS / DSC) that needed faults cleared, for which I purchased a OBDII scanner (Autophix 5900). Also as the car has been sat for a while I took the battery out and charged it.
I just noticed this morning that my I/M Readiness values now all have a Red X next to them whereas previously all green ticks.
Im not sure how this works with regards to MOT (UK Based) ? Unfortunately the car does not have an MOT so I cannot legally drive it and my understanding is that these are items will self-monitor and after time (a week of driving?) they will start to correct themselves ?
My problem is that I cant drive the car (legally) and the car is due for MOT in 4 days time... so my question is... will this mean a guaranteed fail on MOT or are the 2 not related ?
Thanks in advance.
