Electrical gremlin?
I am having an odd problem. Here is everything that has happened and lets see if anyone can make sense of it.
1. After a 45 minute drive I was pulling into my parking spot at work and the power steering died. I turned the car off and back on and noticed the clock was reset.
2. First cool morning of the fall (not cold, but it was cool and the car had sat over the weekend). The car hesitated to start and sputtered to life. The DSC light was on and the clock was reset. I restarted the engine and it started fine.
3 and 4. Slight hesitation at cold start and the clock was reset.
5. Slight hesitation at warm start (I had been driving quite a bit that day and the car was not off for more than a half an hour). Clock was reset and DSC light on. I did a short drive and the DSC light never went off.
Each instance was on a separate day over the last couple of months. It is a 2006 MCS with 40k and the basic mods. At first I didn't think much of it, but it has happened enough that I am starting to think there might be something to it. Any ideas are appreciated.
