Hi Guys, I am new to the group....first post..... I recently purchased a 2006 R53 as my next toy to fix up. I purchased the car knowing the engine was on the way out, so I sourced a replacement engine. I removed the "old" engine and transmission. I put all new gaskets on the replacement engine and all new parts (pulleys, waterpump, themostate etc) and changed the supercharger oil. So here runs into my problem.... I put a new clutch in (LUK) using the existing mini flywheel and new redline MTL. got the engine and trans back in, put a new slave cyclinder in (bled). start her up, yes she runs, but what is that horrible high pitched coming from the transmisstion. I rev the car up and it mostly stops. The car only goes into gears while not running, when running cannot put into gear as the clutch pedal only goes half way down then stops. What could be my issue? slave cylinder needs to be bled more or my nightmare the transmission needs to come back out and look what the problem is? any advice this is my first mini...... thanks Heather....
