Just got my new Mini S. There's a warning sticker on the front of the glove box...air bag danger, etc. Has anyone tried to remove it? I'm asking because sometimes these things are not meant to be removed, and if you try, it leaves a big ugly mess behind.

I used a few drops of lighter fluid and an old sock, the stuff is great for removing sticky crap and doesn't damage most surfaces. Just don't smoke while cleaning

I had a priest exorcize that beast from my MINI... no wait, I pulled it off and it didn't leave any residue

Actually, what I advise is opening the passenger window
and having a friend grab the sticker and pulling away slowly.
Tell your friend to stand in place and the sticker should
come off.

Not knowing what various cleaners and flammable liquids would do to that panel, I opted to play it safe and use liquid car wax to clean up the gooey residue left from the warning sticker. The wax worked great.

DON"T DO IT! They sticker police will come after you and destroy your life! I can't tell you who I am, they made me put the sticker back, even though I didn't know her I didn't mind that much, but they can delete your life with the stroke of one button.

Oh, orbhot, whats up with the sticky stuff and an old sock?

Citrus bike cleaner works great to remove the sticky residue and it doesn't harm the finish, plus it smells very citrusie when you're done!

A constantly recurring thread.............As mentioned above, peel it off very slowly. If any residual remains, press the back of the just removed sticker onto the residual and pull off. You may need to repeat a few times, but this should remove all the remaining sticky without the use of any chemicals.
