I read some previous posts about a similar click and I’m going to check the cv further tomorrow along with the motor mounts, but I get a click similar to others when accelerating. I included a photo of the driver side cv. Is it possible it’s not seated all way? Not sure if it looks right in the photo. I was thinking about removing the necessary components to push it in further.
I’ve got some build up around the block below the starter and I don’t know what it might be from. I replaced the valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. I was thinking maybe this is coming from the power steering bc they’re a little dirty but it looks thick where the starter mates.
what do you guys think about what’s dried up and around the clutch fork lever? This photo and the last makes me wonder if I might have a rear main seal leak. You can see oil between the oil pan and transmission mating surface.
Any idea what that click could be in the sound file? I took a pry bar to the engine and trans and it seems firm and I can’t recreate any noise what so ever. How much radial play would be normal in the CV?
