Windshield Wiper Tip

Not sure if this one is in the manual or not:

With the wiper stalk in the Off position, you can push it down to get one wipe. Duh, everyone knows that! But did you know that if you hold the stalk down, instead of just quickly pressing it, your wipers will move at maximum speed?

I discovered this by accident, and don't know when you would need max wiper speed but not already have your wipers on, but it's there if you need it!

I didn't know that. Only owned one for 6 months though. I think that feature might be for after it rains and someone in the lane next to you goes through a puddle and sprays water up on the windshield all at once. ???

Boy there Kenchan, if you ever sell your MINI, it sounds like whoever is going to buy is going to get one hellofa clean MINI, going from the last couple threads about wipers and clean MINIs and all. Sounds like you keep her pretty clean and away from any kind of filth.
P.S.- Love your car with those wheels. Wishing that the color combo was available when I ordered my '02. Didn't feel like waiting an additional 8 months or so. Very nice though.
Cheers,

Thanks, MINI-MadMan.

Yes, the car will be kept this way for the duration of my ownership.
I just can't stand watching my hobby cars get corroded.

I am leasing a civic beat0r for the snow and rainy days...and for
shopping malls and supermarket parking lots!! ... and kids!
