I have decided to replace the engine and transmission mounts on my Coop. I have the passenger side mount in hand but having difficulty identifing the other parts I need to order. Also looking for other things I should do at the same time. I know when I do the passenger side, I am aloa going to do the serpentine belt. Should I also replace the idler pulley? The Cooper has 128k miles

 

Yes, also change the tensioner and also the idler pulley. I would also recommend the crank pulley if that has never been changed before. I can highly recommend the ATI Super Damper, but those are about 3-4x the cost of a normal pulley. My build thread holds more info (see link in my signature).

Hijacking your comment to say on amazon they have the PRW / SFI fluid filled pulley. Which will not break like the OEM one, and is much cheaper at $225


Or on FCP Euro for even a few bucks less, you get the OE pulley and bolt. Although it's not genuine Mini.
