Cooling questions

Is there a bung for a cooling fan switch on the radiator?

Whats the communities perception of quality on this part at ECS Tuning?

https://www.ecstuning.com/News/MINI_...inum_Radiator/

If I have to drop the coolant and go into full service mode, the rad will get swapped and the plastic t-stat housing will go bye-bye for an aluminum one. What other weak spots are there in the cooling system?

I have looked into some of the diagrams on the cooling system and I gotta say the guy who designed it had to have had a hangover when he didi it... 4 way pipe???

Is there a coolant flow diagram available? Searches revealed parts block diagrams but did not see anything on flow direction.

"a cool engine is a happy engine" (within spec)

I’ve not seen any flow diagrams. Would be nice. When I refreshed these hoses I did it in steps making sure to match the routing...took lots of pictures

I'm thinking I'm going to do the radiator and be done with it the first fulls service mode I do. Belt & tensioner are ordered, Alta 17% pulley in hand so once its all in house then I'll get the install done.
