Cooling my engine

is it normal for my fan to stay on when my car is turned off? sometimes when the car has been on for a little while then is turned off in warm not hot weather, the fan stayes on when the car is turned off.

You should also double check your coolant level. If it is low the fan may stay on longer than usual (coolant leaking at thermostat housing is a likely source of coolant loss)

my fan actually ended up being bad. took it to the mini shop and got it replaced and $650 later it works fine with a three year warranty
