R50/53 What is the deal at the VPC?

My MINI has been sitting at the distribution center in New Jersey since Nov. 19. Isn't that like forever? Seems like it to me. I get nothing from Ask Mini, except "the work order hasn't been completed" and "there have been some delays due to the holiday". The dealer says that he's as anxious for my car to come in as I am. That's a big help. AARRGGHH!

Your dealer could not possibly be as anxious as you are. Unless of course your dealer is like mine and is being constantly harrassed with bizarre questions and requests to tide me over until I actually take delivery. . . .
Maybe they are taking their time and adding another 35 hp to my MCS!
