My 2002 MCS was fully improved and modified just before it got rear ended and written off by the insurer. Buying it back I'd hoped to fix it and get it back on the road, but the strict rules meant replacing an entire quarter panel and rear hatch despite some good bodywork.

So I've decided to track the car, and I'm now compiling a list of things I need to do moving forward. Biggest challenge is going to be removing the heavy sunroof. I've got R56 front calipers coming (used) and all the engine mods should mean it'll be pretty competitive once stripped down. Shame not to have it on the road but racing it should be a thrill.
