I recently installed a prosport premium digital boost gauge and at idle it reads -11 in vac
I'm also using Torque and its boost gauge read -21 in vac at idle . I hooked up an old analog boost gauge and it reads around 11 as well . Why is the Torque apps boost gauge so far off ? I have the atmospheric pressure in the profile setup set at 14.7 since I'm at sea level. Any ideas

 

11 in vacuum is low...the torque app reads what my analog is reading which is 17-19vacuum in neutral at idle ..
your base setting numbers must be off or something unless your altitude is normal at 11 but here in Milwaukee if it's a difference I see 17-19 normally ..

 

It's actually around 15 until the engine warms up then reads around 11. I'm at sea level and I don't think I have any vac leaks . I'm reading 15lbs of boost with a 15% and 2% . I know that's a bit low but I gasket matched the exhaust the TB the SC to horn etc also polished inside where I could reach

 

Wouldn't you be at 17-19 with a 15% and 2% crank? I'm on just a 15% but no cat,intake ,larger intercooler ( which drop boost) and I see 16lb boost and almost 20vacuum..
I know every car is different but I feel you should have more vacuum and more boost...maybe some others here who know more than me can chime in.

 

Well I did open up and polish the intake path quite a bit . Basically the same as a larger IC . I tapped into the line by the side of the IC for the gauge.
But I don't get the vac reading ..... its only been back together for about a tank and a half of gas so maybe the ecm is learning still?
