ABS Sensor Removal Issue

I'm replacing the front drivers wheel carrier (knuckle) on my 05 S that has 131K miles on it. I'm having difficulty removing the ABS sensor in the carrier since it is an older vehicle that has lived in the northeast of the USA. I can get the hex screw out but the sensor seems to be rigidly stuck in the carrier. Anyone have any suggestions? Been treating it with a top quality penetrating fluid every few hours for the past 24 hours. I'm very leery to tap or force it out so I thought someone might know a good method of removal.
Thanks in advance!!

This isn't the best advice, but assuming we're talking about the same part...I recently just broke mine off, then drilled them out! I, of course, replaced with new sensors. Hope this helps a little...

The ABS sensor was permanently "welded" into the wheel carrier so ended up replacing the wheel carrier and installing a new one since I was replacing the carrier anyways due to a permanently rusted pinch bolt.
