Alta sc pulley question

I been trying to understand how to go about doing a pulley reduction since I already have an alta pulley installed. I think I finally have it figured out but am double checking with you gurus . Now if I buy another pulley i would only need to release the belt and unbolt the old one with the 3 bolts in it and then I could just slide and bolt on the new one ? No pulling or pressing needed since it has the alta pulley attachment on my sc snout ? I have the 2006v pulley in think it's called.
and if that's the case I have a 15% pulley I would be willing to swap for a 17% or after I get my car up n running I will save up for the 17 then sell my 15 and make back a few $$$
this 15% seems great for a daily driver slightly modded r53 but with my mods and occasional driving I think a 17% better fits my needs.

The pulley is a tight fit (it does not simply slide on and off) and the Alta may require a special tool to remove it. I will tell you that replacement is a heck of lot easier with the supercharger off the car. It's not that difficult to remove and needs to be off to change the SC oil if you haven't done that yet.

but the alta pulley is a 2 piece if I'm correct , the snout adapter is already on so I dont need to do that . I think I would just need to remove the 3 screws holding it onto the adapter and according to pics I see , it looks like it literally just slides on and gets screwed back onto the adapter with the 3 screws in the face of the pulley . If I have enough room to slide the pulley back without hitting the fender area without having to jack up the engine I will be changing it to a 17 once the cars up and running correctly again. If it's a bigger job than I'm thinking it can still be my next mod but I will wanna do an sc service and some gaskets then n new intercooler boots too.

Engine needs to be jacked up with upper motor mount off. Its a collet setup but still needs a fair bit of room to slide it off. Stop buying Alta products mate. Get another brand Way has the nicest pullies out of all the sellers. Also the 17% main benift is shifting it down lower.

if I have to jack up the engine and all that that's what I will do. Ditch the alta and get something more reputable.
but I now make 16lb of boost peak so I dont think I even need anymore boost . I'm satisfied with how fast it is now that's it's fixed n running rite . 11lb on a slipping belt vs 15lb good belt is literally night and day difference in power all around .
