Parking brake won't engage after brake job

We replaced the front and rear pads and rotors last weekend on our 2004 mini and now the parking brake no longer will hold the car still. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hopefully this will help.

unless I want to buy their $90 book.
You might want to consider buying it anyway. Uncle Bentley is actually a pretty good investment for working on these cars. Lots of used copies out there for <<$90; got mine on EvilBay for around $75 in like-new condition. People also sell them here on NAM from time to time,
as well as on Amazon. as well as on Amazon.
