I'm a bit late to this conversation but thought I would let everyone know my dyno results. My '04 MC40 is running 380cc injectors, 15% pulley, one-ball exhaust and Adrian's "GP" tune. Measured as the best of three runs on a Dynojet Research dyno at Speedtek Performance in the Dallas area, I did a before (175.67hp w/stock injectors + Dinan Stage 1 tune) and after (380cc injectors + Adrian's GP tune) of 193.50hp (approx. 222hp at the crank) -- a gain of approx. 18hp. Power application is very smooth and is especially potent above 3500 RPM. Adrian provided me with a tuned MS5150 ECU based on my mods (plug&play facelift version for my non-facelift Mini) with additional RPM ceiling plus a modification to the cooling fan cycle (kicks in sooner to compensate for Texas heat). Adrian knows his way around an R53 and I've recommended him to a number of folks on this board.

In the files i gave you should be the file Byteronik did for me with that setup. It should be in what i gave you. That was done with a/f and hundreds of logs. If you legit have loaded that it won't get any better than that really. Look for Catcam 17 I think was the last file on that tune. Cant remember if that was the last one or not.

I can send all the logs to Adrian if he needs them. I have them all from both ecu the VDO being the one you got. While the cars are different are geographical locations being the same it should help him. Actually, the tune is likely locked. Let me see if i can get the logs from that run..... But I dont think he will be able to do any better than that file, especially without current real-time AFR info.

I also have Bytetronik and like Yakimini, would also like to learn or at least better familiarize myself with the maps/tables etc. I've been looking at the demo tunes from Bytetronik. Would you mind sharing me your 550cc catcam srf file? I just want to look at them for educational and hobby purposes. Obviously I won't be able to use it as it is locked and Bytetronik will not load it plus I don't have catcams/550. I simply wanted to compare to see what goes in tuning for more air, etc.

dang I thought that too, I hope not..I really liked the guy he was had vast amounts of knowledge. He just always didn't make his point in what most would call a " socially way" but he always meant well . He'd rather hurt your feelings befor you hurt your car, I credit dude with alot of help. He wasn't far from me n was hoping to meet dude but....
I wanna AGAIN thank adriancl for doing wonders with my car.. he retuned my car for its new mods on the new facelift ecu AND we finally got my meth dialed it.. the car is fricken violent when accelerating ! I can hit 4.1sec 0-60mph according to my torque plus app but my phone was dead then buuut I did get a pic running without the meth a week befor and was still pulling consistently 4.4sec 0-60mph , without the meth it calculated my whp at 295whp.. with the meth OMG it fricken nuuuuuts !
I strive for perfection so I know that makes working with me sometimes difficult. I also lack knowledge when it comes to anything on computers and inorder to tune correctly you need some skills. Thankfully Adrian is very polite and patient and made the tuning head ache / worry free for me..
if your considering tuning CONTACT adriancl via pm before you go ANYWHERE ELSE. Trust me ! Your not going to get a better tune for 2x the peice.. I guarantee it... I will list my engine mods below.. btw , my cars idle IS GLASS smooth ,even with bvh and cam. No stalling , idle fluctuations or dead spots in the power band. This baby revs out to 8k rpm AND BUILDS POWER THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH ! Afr are spot on through rev and boost range too.. I cannot give Adrian enough props ! Awesome job again my man !
