R50/53 MINI DIED ...NOT EVEN 24hours
YAY! I've been following your story , too, and I'm happy it was something simple. NOW, are you sure that your battery is in good shape? I hope they made sure the battery was good...
Congrats on getting her/him home!

Godspeed.
Godspeed.
Her name is Rosemary. I will post pictures soon.
Btw, the battery seems to have been replaced aswell.
Your dealer behaved like a good dealer should. Other than the lack of a loaner or rental car (which could well have resulted from the unfortunate timing, as you suggest), they seem to have taken good care of you. I know several Mini dealers who wouldn't have replaced your battery, for instance, even if you had asked them to. Having experienced more than my fair share of lousy service from Mini dealers, it's refreshing to hear about a conscientious one.
BMW/MINI quality assurance called me today (well i think it was them).
Asking me about my experiance...I really gave it to them, and they said they would notify someone above them and try to make it right. Lol, maybe they'll send me some free stuff hehe.
