I really must have MINI amnesia! I don't remember anymore!! I paid MSRP. I think it must have been around $21500.
I got the cooper with:
premium
sport
cold weather packages
Profile leather
Chrome line bumpers
(pretty much everything but nav. and rear parking sensors)

I paid 24,479 for my MCS with all 3 packages, PDC, and cloth floor mats, that includes tax and title and tags. No dealer mark-up, no required add-ons. 2k down, financed the rest at 4.9 through my credit union.

went to get gas last night and the gas attendant asked me how much my payments were on the mini? I found this kind of an odd question. Im sure he wouldnt of like me asking him how much he made a year pumping gas but i digress. I told him anyway.

paid around 21, 000 for Madge.

i guess, but since the price of the car is publically available, asking the payments isn't necssarily querying either your salary or creditworthiness. Probably about the same amount of curiosity as in 'how fast does it go?' I get asked about 50% of the time someone asks about it the cost.

I paid $21.3k +ttl (about $23 and change out the door) for my Cosmos Black Cooper. It's pretty well stacked: Sports pkg, Sports + suspension, onboard computer, stainless skid plate, factory alarm, checkerboard top, multi-function steering wheel, leather shifter/e-brake, and other good stuff that I'm forgetting!

I paid about $24.200 for my MC which included the premium and sport packages, xenon headlights, tartan red cloth, jet black non-metallic paint, and chrome line bumpers. I'm still looking into getting the CD changer, Rally lights, and maybe the 17's instead of the 16's I have now.

$20800 + ttl

Bought it in Cincy, get to license it & pay the taxes in Kentucky (probably on Friday)

Got all 3 packages on a regular cooper (well, I wanted the 7-hole alloys instead of the 16's with runflats, so one subsitution).

God, I love this car...

Mini price w/out the negative equity was $18,999. It was the "only' car on the lot the dealer was willing to sell at MSRP. I had arounf $4,000 of negative equity that bumped the finance amount up considerably. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with the outcome.

I paid $21.5 US out the door with tax, title etc.

Lots of people have asked me how much the car cost. I have replied 'about 21K', as so many mention BMW, I do not want people thinking I am really rich.
People's impressions become fact. My previous car was an Acura Integra. I would get reactions to that like I was rich. I thought it was funny, that if I had bought the Accord, which cost more at the time, people would think that was a practical car.

$24,733.20 out the door. No markup. No dealer forced add-ons. (Sticker plus floor mats brought everything I ordered to $23,220.)

79 Days from order to delivery. 45 minutes at dealer when test driving and placing order. 25 minutes at delivery. Now 5.5 months and 9,600 sMiles later..... Glad to have spent every penny!

MINI of Peabody, Mass., was MSRP all the way for her Cooper, plus an added $125 for dealer prep. They didn't push any add-ons except for adding floor mats and $95 to the final bill.
She wanted almost every option except the nav and the grand total came to $21,335.
We hope to pick it up tomorrow

My '02 DK SILVER/BLK MCS with everything but the nav system and backup warning thingy came in at about 26K. That includes all premium packages, 17" wheels with runflats, factory bonnet stripes, tax, title and dealer prep. Worth every penny!!! I sold my old car for 13K, which was down payment on the S. The rest was financed at a very low rate with USAA (hubby's ex gov't employee/military). It's nice that dealers didn't add 10 grand to the MSRP like they did when the Honda S2000 came out and demand was high. Good thing, too or I'd have one of those instead of a MINI, heaven forbid!o

I think the grand total was just under $25k. I was happy that the dealer fees at Rasmussen MINI were only $195! Go Rasmussen MINI!

It's sorta funny (but not too surprising) that it seems the people who are posting to this thread all paid MSRP... those of us (yeah, me included here in SoCal) who will pay/have paid a dealer premium don't wanna talk about it (me included again)!

Cheers,

Leslie
