Supercharger Teflon Flaking

I have an 2002 MCS and I have been doing a fair amount of overhaul maintenance on. Last night I removed the supercharger outlet horn from the charger and found this inside.

Confusion and sadness faces and noises
So I have some questions. What research I have done I know that there were teflon coated rotors on the JCW super chargers and that in 2005 and up they did this for all MCS'. However mine is an 2002, the production labels stated that it was an 2002, before they came off after my cleaning. This car has had several owners and I keep finding anomalies that inform me had been modded or what not. So maybe this is a JCW with a stock pulley?

Can anyone provide the diameter not percentage of the stock pulleys and the JCW pulleys? That would be great for me to verify and hope I have the right belt size.

I also tried to see a stock JCW rotor coating and have read about them being black. These are coated but grey so confusion.

Next thing is the sad part. You can see that the coating whatever it is, is flaking. What should my level of concern be?

The gears run well, no play in the shaft and a large quantity of oil came out when I did the change, albeit dark and smelly.

I appreciate your input.

I don't think the black spots are from the teflon. Even if they flake off you should have a lot grey left on the surfaces that don't see the rubbing. More likely than not it ingested the crap foam air filter foam element that disintegrated.

Oh, see you are giving me hope on a number of other things without knowing it. Do you mean the air filter in the filter box?

The black was oil / muck. This car was coated in oil and grime. Some of it was like translucent chips, less than a few. Some of that may have come from cleaning, the oil not the chips.

Yes. Do keep in mind you mention there were many owners before, so it is possible the evidence and the crap foam filter has been removed to be sold for the "performance" boutique price. Very common with people selling their mod Mini's.
