Starting the repair/restore on my 03 R53 Indie blue and thinking of doing a custom set of grills with this stuff in silver...

I am thinking of doing a wide single or double center stripe in a silver frosted sort of color so I think it will all work colorwise, but I'd like to see some pics of Indie blue with silver bits if anyone's got them.

 

Quickie photoshop. The bottom grill would be the same. Don't silver would work with a black surround. But the chrome might be too blingy for me.

I want to do that with the bottom grill on my S as well. Going for more of an vintage look. Not a bad look. Thanks to both of you guys for providing info.

 

I think I'm going to go with a silver double stripe as well - but using a different vinyl than most folks do to make it look frosted. Thinking about trying 3M Scotchall 3630 - it's translucent and matte. I've ordered a sample to see how it looks against the Indie. Will post when I do.
