Puff of white smoke
I was going down the highway this afternoon. Was in 6th gear going about 65mph. When i tried to speed up, the coop felt like it didn't want to accelerate. As I continued to press of the gas, there was a soft "poof" noise and a puff of white "smoke". After that the car seemed to respond correctly. I drove about 15miles home and it did not happen again.
This might have happened a couple of weeks ago but it was subtle enough that I brushed it off.
Any ideas what could be happening? Not sure if it is related but I have a P0420 code that I am trying to deal with.
