I've had about 25 cars, 4 brand new, and I've never gottten the attention that this car gets. I've been stopped driving through parking lots, had neighbors and collegues ask to drive it, had people stop by my house to look in it (young/old doesn't matter) and the feeling you get from driving it is even better. Mostly poeple point at it when I'm driving by or they yell out the window to salute the car. What a driving experience. You guys who are still waiting can't even imagine the half of it. enjoy the MINIADVENTURE.

That happened to us in Texas this past spring! LMAO! Scared the crap out of us, though!

the only times the cops have wanted to check out my car, was to see why i was speeding or not driving w/ a front plate. consider yourselves lucky


well maybe the next time a cop cjecks out my car it will be for something good
but back on topic, i know exactly how you feel, whenever i am driving i can always read the lips of the person next to me saying mini, or look, yup,its great:smile:

You think it’s exciting now – You wouldn’t believe what it was like over 2 years ago. To come out of a store and find 25 people around your MINI, it would take hours to go anywhere because you had to stop and answer questions for everyone. It still happens now and then, but not like 2 years ago. I had some younger drivers who set up a roadblock once to stop me and ask questions.

But there’s 3 MINIs in the area now so it’s not as big a deal.
