Send me a pm if interested to know what it takes .
Cheers

Lot of tools can read and write Siemens EMS2000 or Siemens MS5150.(MS5150 equips Mini between 2005-2006)
Galletto 1260, read and write by OBD, no checksum, read time 11 minutes, write time 9 minutes.Price around 15$
Galletto FGTech, read and write by OBD,read and write in Boot mode ,no checksum, same read and write time by OBD as Galletto 1260, in Boot mode around 3 minutes read or write.Price around 50$
MPPS V13, MPPS V16, read and write by OBD, no checksum, read time 3 minutes, write time 1,5minutes.Price around 15$
KES V2,read and write by OBD,checksum in writing, read and write time around 3 minutes.Price around 100$

hey there! I know it’s late but how is it possible to do this? I have a 2006 mini cooper r50, I need to flash the DME (clone it) to another DME because I’m having issues with it cutting power to my ignition coils, and once I clone it I was wondering if it’s possible to flash the DME with a tune I create via dumping the binary file to my computer … you know typical tuning.

I think the only way to do this is with KTAG (removing the DME and doing it via “BOOT MODE” but I’m not sure if it’s possible to do it via OBD 2 (KESS) but I truly don’t know I’d appreciate it!

id appreciate your response and thank you!!
