Yellow high beams

2005 hatchback has annoying yellow high beams.Looking to change the bulbs to white light. I believe the bulbs are H9 type. Any suggestions?

They should be H7's,
There are these:
Amazon Amazon

Or look at the Silver Star, if you want to stick with halogen.

I wouldn't run a 100w anything in OE housings with OE wiring. Or anything over the factory 55w without relayed harnesses at the very least.

Right now GE makes the brightest H7 that is safe to use in OE-replacement applications:

I wouldn't either, in a halogen, but those are 100w comparable LED's, so nowhere near the heat as a 100w incandescent.

But honestly, that was just the first LED replacement that came up on search.

If you want to see where you're going, put in GE, Sylvania or Philips H7 bulbs.
Philips will last the longest.
If you don't want to see where you're going & do want to blind everybody else, put in the LEDs.

It would be nice to hear from others on this...

I've got some 75w equivalent LED's and I think they work as well or better than the SilverStar's I used to have. But maybe it's just me...
(I can't for the life of me remember where I got them)
And blinding others really shouldn't come into play here, so I don't worry about that.

That kit contained a pair of 100w halogen bulbs as well as a pair of LED bulbs; for low beam and high beam use.

Makes sense on how it was carefully selected now!
