I recently tightened the connections to the starter of my 03 mcs and when I replaced the heat shield I realized that I have this plug connected to nothing. I hope someone knows where is connects. It is attached to the back of the motor with a clip. The clip does not allow the wire/plug to slide at all so I assume the connection should be within the same range from the point it is secured. It only has about 6 inches of wire from the clip to the end of the plug. Hopefully the pictures give good idea to the location. Thanks for the help in advance.
Thank you for your response. My reverse lights are not working. I believe that May be the reverse connection. Unfortunately I can not locate the other plug to connect to. Any idea where to look for the other plug?
Thank you so much for the responses. It is the plug to the back up light switch. Apparently is has not been working since I purchased the vehicle a couple months ago but now I have back up sensors too!!! Thanks again!!!
No I just need to figure out what size replacement bolt to order for the 10mm holding on the starter heat shield by the oil filter lol. I dropped it and now
it’s just gone
