I-pod adapter now off miniusa site?!?

Hi,

I went to retrieve a saved Mini configuration today and I noticed the i-pod adapter was no longer listed. I tried to add it back on but it seems to have gone missing from the website

I am going to call the MA tomorrow to find out the scoop.

Am I nuts

Thanks,
Erik

I'd never seen it on the site. When did you see it there?

It was in the dealer add on section, after you had already "built" your car online.

It was on about two weeks ago. I saw the anouncement on motoringfile.com and ran over to add it. I believe it was in the audio/electrical option page.

The MA told me they do have a part number for the adapter.....but why it' not on the miniusa site is anyone's guess.

As of 10:30am EST on 11/24, the adaptor is back on miniusa.com.

The dealer wants $349 installed. Has anyone else gotten a dealer quote on this?

My Montreal MINI dealer just called me this morning to tell me that they received iPod kits...

I will wait one more week to see how much does the Dension Ice new kit sells before choosing either one. http://www.dension.com/main.php?pageid=50&topid=42

Long Beach was quoting $150 for the adapter, 150 for install.
