Recently bought a 2004 mini cooper s. Upon test driving it instantly noticed clutch was all but gone. Went a head and made the purchase with the intent to mod the car as far as possible. I am looking to replace clutch setup and fly wheel within the month and not sure a good setup. I have made several performance mods to date and will be doing bigger changes within the next six months. Looking to get close to that 300hp mark and want something that is going to hold up as we continue to build for the future. Any ideas or suggestions would be great

 

A lot of people will say get the Velo kit, but with those kind of HP numbers - I'd look at a ClutchMasters kit...

 

What mods are you doing in order to hit 300hp? Just asking, because that's a pretty stout number that's going to cost you a lot of money to obtain. Just curious......

I have a Valeo clutch....at it seems to handle 225-ish hp pretty good.
