Popping sound over bumps from right front, especially when cold.

I have a bad outer CV boot and will be replacing the axle shortly. I am getting a popping noise from the right when going over bumps that goes away after about a mile or two. I am not sure that replacing the axle would fix this but I'd like to know what else this might be preemptively.

Any ideas? No visible play on ball joints or tie rods. I must say that the vehicle is exceptionally bouncy over bumps.

Thanks

Could be worn sway bar end links. If they are loose or worn you will get noise.

Sway bar end links, or sway bar bushings?

Make sure your struts are tight in the towers.
