R53 Control Arm Bushing replacement + what else?

Hello,
I need to replace my control arm bushings as every touch of the brakes results in a serious jerk of the steering wheel and speed bumps make the car go clunk something fierce. Is there a full list of items that should be replaced while that is being done? I was just going to go with PowerFlex lower arm bushings.

Thanks, Les

PF is 100% the way to go. Do your ball joints if they are the same age as the bushings since getting to them is the same disassembly steps, as well as the CV boots if they have any cracks. If you're dropping the subframe to remove the LCAs (as opposed to removing the axles), do the front sway bar bushings too.

I'm curious, are you using the saw method or removing the housings?

We always do the sway bar bushings at the same time. The Powerflex are for sure the best way to go for the control arm bushings.

but often people also do the ball joints at the same time

Just did this job two times. Like Halt said, ball joints, inspect cv boots, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and endlinks. Rockauto and moog, can't go wrong.

I am not doing the work myself and unfortunately, the place that I would prefer to use cannot accept any new repairs for over a week so I am taking it to a near shop that does "imports". I am in a rush as my alternator is toast (squealing and my battery light is on) so I am just trying to bundle my repairs.
