Just checking, it is necessary.
Good catch. I did not. I'll get that resinstalled this evening for sure.

Intake mocked up. Will probably use an angle off the coupler to give the new thermostat housing/radiator cap neck space.

More mock ups. The initial part of the down pipe clears everything, all it needs is 2 pie cuts to point to the rear of the car.

Map sensor mounted to intake manifold. No need to worry about that brittle plastic adapter breaking

upper radiator hose fits perfectly with the angle I added to the radiator outlet

Hks super sequential in its new home

intercooler piping is complete now

oil feed completed, 3/8 npt female tee, male extension and a 4an adapter

Water pump finally mounted

I just need to find some 5/8 aluminum tubing to weld to some 1 1/4" to make the heater line splice

Ac condenser fits. Need to work on how to mount it though.

This is the position for the new universal drier

Down pipe came out perfect using the OBX header as a jig

Definitely need to move the coil pack forward a bit and make a heat shield

So i am NO where near finished trying to get a base map on this thing after the turbo conversion, much less have a proper "tune" on the profec B. 17psi spike to 10 psi, look at that TQ curve. JUST LOOK AT IT.

TD04-13g VS the stock M45. To hell with superchargers and the top mount. Intake temps are down 50ish degrees. If you have one of these cars and want to know what it's like to drive a fast one. Dash the supercharger in the garbage and go turbo. The lack of power under 3500 is a worth while trade off. I will be working on the tune in the next few days to get the 17-18psi to redline amongst the AFR and timing tuning.

Finally getting the Alta rear control arms, sway bar end links and the BC coilovers on. Ran out of time today but will finish up the last corner tomorrow. What a PAIN IN THE *** the rear control arms are.

FYI 195's on the stock wheels will rub the coilover shock body ever so slightly.

Getting the height set this morning and spacers/bolts to clear everything so it can get aligned

Picking it up from alignment in an hour. Ended up going with -2* front camber -1.5* rear camber and 0* toe all around

Thanks!

Building exhausts on the ground is a pain. Man we need a lift. I need to redo the middle hanger mount since the stock one rusted to pieces and I am almost done welding all the pie cuts. Thinking about using one of the oval tips off my 370z stock exhaust that I have no use for anymore.

Other than that since I was feeding everything off 1 vacuum source I tapped the intake manifold for 2 additional ports. The boost controller was unable to do more than make boost spike to 17psi. So hopefully with it's own vacuum port it will work now.

Got the exhaust finished. I will never use Firepower brand flux core mig wire again. My welds have NEVER looked that ugly before. It was so bad i had to grind down the last bend where you might possibly see them.

Either way the car is surprisingly quiet.

I tapped the intake manifold for 2 extra ports so the boost controller has it's own separate vacuum supply and appears to be working well. Will be adjusting it some more tonight to try and get to the magic 18psi

Yup, I ended up adding 3 individual ports to my manifold to get the vacuum system working correctly for everything, including PCV and Brake Booster.
Ganging them together, just didn't work well enough.
